Nomi is building the cultural layer of digital identity.
Africa has over 2,000 languages. That's nearly a third of every language spoken on earth. 88% of them are severely underrepresented or completely ignored in the computational systems people use every day.

The booking platforms, voice assistants, HR software, and classroom apps that handle names were built around a narrow set of languages. When a system encounters Morẹ́nikéjì or Nneọma, it guesses. The person on the other end of that guess feels it in the hospital waiting room, on the classroom roll call, and in the customer service call that opens with a mispronunciation.

That cultural layer starts with 9,500 names across 7 languages, pronunciation recordings from native speakers and linguists, the meaning and origin behind each name. Platforms plug it in the way they plug in any other tool. The time to do that is now, while these systems are still being built.
